Infused with warm analogue sounds and blending elements of new wave, funk and soul, Kristian North’s new full-length, Passion Play, travels from a bedroom window, all the way to the pyramids, during its 30 minutes of luscious sophisti-pop recorded on one single reel. Again, Kristian North turned to engineer Renny Wilson (Anemone, Michael Rault, Faith Healer) for the production, with Harris Newman (Wolf Parade, Patrick Watson, Orville Peck), taking over mastering duties.
