Anthony Piazza’s exhibition of stage design involves the manipulation of light and projections in real-time. His performances feature experimentation with real-time audio reactive visual effects, video feedback with live cameras, and triggered clips with layering alongside manually controlled effects. Piazza also utilizes rotoscoping, an animation technique that animators use to trace over motion picture footage, frame by frame, to produce realistic and/or surreal action. With projection mapping, he then creates unique visuals from one or multiple projectors.
