On The Sacred Fuck EP (March 15th, 2024 via Mothland), experimental rock outfit Yoo Doo Right (Montréal, QC) meanders along found sound, field recordings and sonic collage, momentarily straying away from the high-decibel musical juggernauts we’ve growned accustomed to, rather proposing spacious essays in sound design over the course of tracks one through four. Adding an old portable cassette tape recorder, other various tape machines, as well as a shortwave radio to their arsenal, the Montréal trio take us on a journey that sees them attend a protest, capture sublime artistic spontaneity, visit a remote cabin in the woods, before landing at Studio Mixart where they hammered out signature closing track, “FULL HEALTH (BBB)”.

Sur The Sacred Fuck EP (15 mars 2024 via Mothland), le groupe de rock expérimental Yoo Doo Right (Montréal, QC) serpente autour de sons trouvés, de field recordings et de collages, s’écartant momentanément des pièces pesantes à hauts décibels auxquelles il nous a habitué, proposant plutôt des essais en design sonore spacieux au fil des pistes une à quatre. Ajoutant à son arsenal un vieil enregistreur à bande magnétique, quelques autres machines à ruban, ainsi qu’une radio à ondes courtes, le trio montréalais nous transporte le long d’une trame qui les voit assister à une protestation, capturer un sublime moment de spontanéité artistique, visiter une cabane perdue dans les bois, avant d'atterrir au Studio Mixart où ils ont martelé un morceau de clôture au ton familier: “FULL HEALTH (BBB)”.
