Absolutely Free, le trio psychédélique torontois composé de Moshe Fisher-Rozenberg, Michael Claxton et Matt King. Leur son allie électronique analogique, New Wave, Krautrock, House, Worldbeat et musique minimaliste. Leur album éponyme paru en 2014 leur a valu des comparaisons à Caribou, Tame Impala et Broadcast ainsi qu’une nomination au prestigieux Polaris Music Prize en plus d’être couvert par Pitchfork, Stereogum, Rolling Stone, Exclaim! et CBC entre autres. Still Life, leur plus récent single encapsule le climat laconique et le potentiel kaléidoscopique du moment présent. Produit par Jorge Elbrecht (Ariel Pink, Gang Gang Dance, etc.) et matricé par Heba Kadry (Björk, Slowdive, Beach House, etc.), la chanson est une épopée haute fidélité empreinte de grâce et d’émotion. Le groupe est présentement en studio à terminer son deuxième album au côté de Elbrecht et reprendra la route en 2019.
