The High Dials

The High Dials are a psychedelic pop band from Montreal.  Over 10+ years they’ve released 5 records and toured North America and the UK multiple times, including stints with the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Black Angels and Neko Case.

Their melodic sensibility is rooted in power pop and 60s classics but infused with shoegaze, new wave and folk influences, winning praise from the likes of Brooklyn Vegan, NME and All Music Guide, and making fans of old school luminaries like Steven Van Zandt and Andrew Loog Oldham.

The band’s last release was “In the AM Wilds” (2015), for which they toured the USA, UK and Ireland, supported Sam Roberts Band in Canada and made festival appearances in Mexico and Colombia.

After a creative hiatus to pursue side projects - including Trevor’s soundtrack to the award-winning documentary “Let There Be Light” (Eye Steel Film, 2017) - the band is back with a soulful collection of beat-heavy electro pop full of hooks, harmonies and hard-won humour.

Another great offering of jangly psychedelia, shoegazy guitars and sunny harmonies.
— BROOKLYN VEGAN
Swirly psychedelic pop full of chiming guitars and dreamy vocals, swathed in echo and reverb...fuzzy space-rock and folk. Double your pleasure.
— The Sun (Toronto)
At times their sunburst melodies sound arena-big, at times they sound like elegies written in country churchyards next to the Hacienda club.
